Hope everyone enjoyed our lovely rainfall of a weekend. We pretty much kicked around in our pjs for most of the day, did some epic puddle jumping with miss lucie and crafted up some fun fall terrariums. Terrariums are a great nature-y crafty thing to do on fall rainy days. Get out to the forest or beach and hunt down some items and then come home to place it all together. We went for a combo of forest & desert themes. These can be cute kiddo activities or simply fun to make as a house warming gift for someone. Here are some tips and images on how to get your terrariums on!
Supplies:
Drain rock
Soil
Decorative Sand (we get ours from pet food shops- the kinds that goes into reptile tanks!)
Mini Rocks (as boulders)
Moss
Twigs
Mini Cactus
Little Figurines (we hunt for these at dollar stores in the party pack section)
Wooden Salad Bowls/ Glass Vessels/ Mason Jars (from thrift stores/ garage sales)
